ahhh i feel good.
today it rained really hard only as i was walking to class. it felt nice since it wasn’t windy. i also liked the novelty of arriving to a seminar and being the only one wet. there’s a cute guy in my class that says intelligent things; sometimes we have mock battles over the reading, so maybe i am attracted to him. he reminds me of a gay friend from high school.
can caffeine make your muscles feel tired? after a two day coffee, tea, and chocolate binge my body feels tired. theobromine is a major molecular compound present in both coffee and chocolate, which is why they can taste like each other. i tried mixing some cinnamon and organic blue agave nectar in with a cup of coffee today but the cinnamon didn’t really do anything except make a rim around the cup. i wonder if adding vanilla extract to a cup of coffee would be tasty. hmm…
i’m bored with making up things tao lin asked me to do. yeah, i know, i’ve only made up two things. i guess i have a lot to learn as an intern. i wrote tao lin an upset email yesterday. tao lin probably gets lots of emails from curious people. i wish i hadn’t sent it. it is mean and unfair to take things out on someone you don’t know. i guess this is an i’m sorry. pff hubris :T
i’m not very imaginative. even my dreams aren’t imaginative. they always involve things that make sense, except for the one in which a t-rex chases me around a store-in-a-box (wal-mart?) and i’m running and flying around the tops of the shelves to try to get away. when i have that t-rex dream i fly by doing the breaststroke in the air and never by flapping my arms. i never zoom around with one fist like superman. well, i did try zooming once, back when i was into lucid dreaming, but it felt unnatural.
so: tao lin called me today and wanted some organic broccoli.
